Last detail ! Though the entire staff member of the "Club" (from the chef to the waiters) is of indian origin, they all speak a perfect french, and represents the french cuisine by transposing at distance. You will enjoy the food prepared by the Chef accompanied by the carabean music which gives a festive air . The carte provides with great choice of refreshing cocktails.

RENDEZ -VOUS

In front of the Alliance Française, and not far from the annex of the Law College of Pondicherry, this restaurant bears a french name but providing with an international carte : indo- sino- italiano french. The restaurant is very spacious and naturally bright. Prices are above average but remain reasonnable (between 50 and 100 Rs a dish).

Main dishes recommended :

* Sear steak (steak de "Capitaine). French steak cooked with flavour.

* Grilled prawns with garlic/butter is worth trying

We tried the Rendez-Vous the week days and on Sundays. We have noticed that global service is a bit slow during week-end, therefore it is advisable to prefer visiting this restaurant on week days. Excellent breakfast is also served at "Rendez-Vous"
